James Marriott

Since earning my degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, I have worked in production and logistics management in the plastics industry. I started working at Intouch in 2003 and my role as Project Manager involves communicating with customers to identify how they can use our software to optimize their operations.

This can be working on new implementations with businesses who have no experience of production monitoring, or our existing customers who have used our software for many years. I enjoy the varied nature of the role and the interaction with people required to complete it. I am particularly proud of having been part of the growth of Intouch from the installation of its early systems, and look forward to this continuing well into the future.

When I’m not working, I enjoy travelling, attending sports events, gigs and festivals. I took a little career break prior to joining Intouch and travelled to see the World Cup, the Ashes and the Cricket World Cup on 3 continents! I spend lots of time and money on listening to Pearl Jam and following them to concerts around the world. I am the treasurer of our local cricket club and a Northampton Town FC season ticket holder too.
