AI on the factory floor, answered.
What is AI in production monitoring?
It is software that reads the production data you already capture, machine status, cycles, downtime reasons and scrap, and writes up what happened, why it matters and what to fix first. Intouch Intelligence does that on every report, instead of leaving you to interpret a dashboard.
Can AI improve OEE?
AI does not run your machines, so it does not raise OEE on its own. What it does is make the losses visible and costed, which machine, how many hours, how many parts, so the improvement work goes where the payback actually is.
Do I need a data project before I can use AI on the factory floor?
No. Intouch is the whole chain: the hardware connects the machines, the platform captures the data and Intelligence reads it. There is no separate data warehouse or integration project to finish first.
How is this different from a dashboard?
A dashboard shows numbers and leaves the interpretation to you. Intelligence writes the interpretation. It names the machine, quantifies the hours or parts at stake, shows its evidence and a confidence level, and suggests the next step.
