Intouch reflects on the great success of 2023!
Following a brilliant 2022, the Intouch team celebrate another successful year as 2023 draws to a close.
From onboarding a record number of new clients, to attending important industry events and growing our team. 2023 was certainly a busy one!
Let's go back in time...
Here’s 10 key events achieved in 2023…
1. Energy Monitoring Module launch - January
In January, we launched the first edition of our energy monitoring module.
Since then, we’ve had dozens of clients implement this technology into their manufacturing process, including Boddingtons Plastics in collaboration with Mouldshop, who managed to reduce their consumption by 30% thanks to our software.
2. NPE Space Draw Event - February
In February, Nathan Clarke attended the NPE Space Draw event in Orlando, FL and secured our space for the highly anticipated NPE 2024 show! Preparations are now underway for one of our biggest exhibitions to date!
3. The PlastikCity team visit Intouch HQ! - April
In April, Will Clarke and Jess Clarke from PlastikCity visited the Intouch HQ as part of their ‘PlastikCity on tour campaign’.
The afternoon was a brilliant opportunity to review our partnership and set goals for the year ahead.
4. Intouch visit Boddingtons Plastics - May
In May, we visited Boddingtons plastics in Kent for a day of filming for our case study collaboration.
Throughout the day, we learned that Wayne Allen and the team managed to improve their OEE by 39% over a 2 year period thanks to the Intouch system.
5. Sustainable Plastics Live - May
The Intouch team exhibited for a second year at Sustainable Plastics Live 2023!
The show was a great opportunity to catch up with existing clients, and make new connections within the Plastics industry!
6. BPF Productivity Seminar - June
In June, Andy Jewell and Nathan Clarke attended the BPF Productivity Seminar at the MTC in Coventry.

7. Interplas 2023 - September
Following a highly successful show in 2021, Intouch returned to the NEC in September to exhibit at Interplas 2023!
The show saw a record number of visitors to our stand and was a brilliant opportunity to network with members of the UK plastics industry.
8. Intouch visits Russell Roof Tiles - October
In October, the Intouch team visits Russell Roof tiles to film content for our case study collaboration.
Daniel Hancox informed us how they managed to improve OEE from ~70% to over ~90% for 9 out of 12 machines consistently.
9. Plastics Industry Awards - November
On November 17th, Intouch hosted a table at the prestigious Plastics Industry Awards 2023 at the Intercontinental hotel in London with team members from Boddingtons Plastics and Plastic Parts Direct.
While we didn’t win the award we were nominated for, the event was a great opportunity to show our appreciation to our clients.
10. Intouch Christmas Party - December
In December, the Intouch team celebrated Christmas with a couple of events.
The team celebrated Christmas jumper day and enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by Lucy Hardwick.
On December 15th, the team visited Birmingham city centre for a night full of Bowling, games and comedy which was enjoyed by all!
What's Next?
As we move into 2024, we’re hoping for another great year, and are already booked into a handful of key events, such as NPE 2024 and Plastics Live!
